Today Google revealed Project Glass — its augmented-reality glasses. You put these on and it shows information like weather, maps, messages and video calls right on your glasses. Currently they are shown as standalone glasses but Google’s plan is to have screens you can attach to your existing glasses (unless you mind looking like this). The project is still in its early works but it looks very promising — hope Google can pull this off.
This brings me to my point. I don’t need this, I already have a phone that does everything this is supposed to do. I don’t even wear glasses or sunglasses. Yet I am positive I’ll end up buying this when it comes out. That’s because it looks very very cool.
